Go your own way, slow down, breathe, find your inner balance.
Mindful.Latemar is the first mindfulness trail in the Alps. It is situated along the circular route on Monte Golfrion, at the foot of the Dolomites, at an altitude of 1,872 metres. Born from the devastation of the Vaia storm in 2018, which uprooted nearly all the trees in the area, this path combines striking views of the mountains with a tranquil atmosphere, being slightly removed from other thematic trails.
You can explore it through 18 mindfulness exercises, either as part of a guided group or individually. Simply download the free app to receive instructions from Dr Thomas Bernagozzi directly to your phone. Dr Bernagozzi, a psychologist and mindfulness trainer, designed the trail. Having created similar paths in urban parks, this is his first project in the Alps – a route for self-discovery and mindful connection.
Simply pack your headphones and mat or blanket, take the Ochsenweide cable car from Obereggen and open the door to the ‘here and now’. Through guided exercises, learn to increase self-awareness, embrace the present moment, and view your environment and nature’s elements with fresh eyes.
